Product Description

Propylene Glycol Tech Grade is an important raw material for unsaturated polyesters, epoxy resins, polyurethane resins, plasticizers and surfactants. This unsaturated polyester is widely used in surface coatings and reinforced plastics.

Propylene Glycol Tech Grade is used as a chemical feedstock for the production of unsaturated polyester resins. Related to this application, propylene glycol reacts with propylene oxide to form oligomers and polymers for the production of polyurethanes. Propylene Glycol Tech Grade is used in waterborne acrylic architectural coatings to extend drying time, it does this by preventing the surface from drying out because it evaporates more slowly than water.Propylene Glycol Tech Grade is also used in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and a wide range of other practical applications.
